Laser Process is something of a pioneer in its field, having blazed a trail for laser cutting for almost 30 years.
The Hednesford-based company works with clients across a range of sectors including automotive, architectural, mobility and motor sport, to say nothing of a wide variety of bespoke projects.
The company constantly updates its procedures and invests in the latest technology to ensure its design projects are continually of the highest standards. Quality is maintained as its steel fabricators use CNC pressbrake bending machinery and high speed laser cutters to give a consistently accurate cutting service.
As a result, with its laser cutting machines and CNC laser it is able to offer laser engraving, sheet metal fabrication and laser cutting services of the highest standard. From one-off to full-scale production projects, the firm is able to complete all kinds of laser cutting jobs, primarily working with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
Laser Process was managed since its inception in 1990 by Dave Lindsey until his decision to step down late last year as managing director in favour of a business development role.
Dave is a former member of the Made in the Midlands Executive Council, accordingly he is a strong advocate of the organisation and the power of its network.
Importantly, he has been a member of other business organisations down the years - which is why he appreciates how Made in the Midlands is different.
He said: “Frankly a lot of these organisations were a waste of time because they offered very little for manufacturers.
“Made in the Midlands is different. It is set up by manufacturers, for manufacturers and therefore understands the issues facing its members and provides them with the necessary level of support.
“However, it’s also up to members to make the most of the opportunities available. So the more you engage with other members, the more positive results you will achieve.
