LG Davis Celebrate Recruitment Success Through MIM Platform

In April 2023, Made in the Midlands member LG Davis needed a meticulous "Warehouse Operative” to join their team and finding the right fit was crucial.

The Birmingham-based printing solutions company used their Made in the Midlands job advertising feature to address their staffing needs. This decision allowed LG Davis to promote their job vacancy, instantly appearing on their dedicated microsite and the Made Futures job board.

The vacancy was also promoted by Made in the Midlands on social media as well, with this dual exposure increasing the visibility of our job opening. In a short period of time, a total of 29 applications poured in from enthusiastic candidates eager to join their team. 

After reviewing these applications using the Made in the Midlands platform, LG Davis found the perfect applicant for this position. The successful application not only met their stringent requirements but also resonated with his genuine passion for the role; with Ray's qualifications and enthusiasm making him the perfect fit.

Since joining LG Davis, Ray has described his new role as "varied and interesting" and he has come on leaps and bounds in his learning of the role. LG Davis were ultimately left delighted to have found someone who not only fulfills their needs but also finds fulfillment within their company.
