MyWorkwear, supplier of custom clothing and personalised workwear to businesses across the UK, has reached a big Made in the Midlands milestone this month, as they celebrate over 100 MiM members becoming customers.
Producing thousands of garments per week, from their premises in Telford, the team know the importance of quality workwear to the businesses who trust them with their brand and truly believe that a well-dressed team is a strong indication of a well-run company.
Since joining MiM as a patron in 2017 the business has seen strong demand for their services amongst the manufacturer members, who return to them again and again for workwear, uniform and PPE. Boneham and Turner were the first to take advantage of the special pricing for members back in 2017 and continue to be customers today, with Wrekin Sheet Metals recently becoming the 100th customer from the Made in the Midlands membership.
On being told about being the 100th MiM customer, Claire Robinson, Managing Director of Wrekin Sheet Metal commented ‘What an honour being 100. Our team’s workwear was looking a little tired but I dread the process of ensuring that what I have as an idea turns up just right in reality in terms of the colour and logo etc. With MyWorkwear the process of ordering was so simple and the team was really helpful. We received the order in good time and I was advised at each stage - I’ll be back’
The team as MyWorkwear have recently celebrated their 45th birthday, following a period of extensive growth over the last 2 years, so this milestone was another positive for their Managing Director, James Worthington. ‘We have been an active member of Made in the Midlands for a number of years and as a result, have seen an uplift in orders from manufacturers in the Midlands area which is obviously very positive’ said James.
MiM member and MyWorkwear customer Chris Greenough, Chief Commercial Officer, SDE Technology added ‘It has been great working with MyWorkwear, and the response from their team has been amazing. We rebranded in 2019 and they helped create our new logo in a stitch on, which is a real sign of quality. James has a passion for the manufacturing sector, and is a keen supporter of MiM.’
MyWorkwear works closely with customers to ensure their individual brands are portrayed in an appropriate way across their uniform, focusing on quality products and exceptional customer service during a process that some businesses have found to be complicated and time-consuming with their previous suppliers.
John D’Angelillo, Managing Director of Bauromat, another MIM member remarked ‘Finding MyWorkWear through MiM has taken away all the difficulties we had in the supply of all our PPE & Workwear, unmistakable quality, cost-effective and dependable on delivery times….. no need to look any further’
Reacting to the news, James finished ‘It is fantastic to see us reaching this milestone and we look forward to continuing to work with our MiM customers and welcoming new ones to the MyWorkwear family’.
