Made in Group is delighted to announce a LIVE Backing Britain networking event hosted by Made in the Midlands patron Birmingham City University on 23rd November 20222 at 9am.

The event will include a tour of the excellent STEAMhouse - a facility bringing together the best of science, technology, artistry and engineering/ manufacturing capability.

What is STEAMhouse?

The STEAMhouse building was originally built in 1899, the headquarters of the Eccles Rubber and Cycle Company. A nod to the manufacturing excellence it once represented, STEAMhouse, powered by BCU, is now a modern, innovative and inspiring facility for the business community.The facility offers production, prototyping facilities for technologists, artists, designers, and innovators. It also houses an incubator/accelerator, an AR and VR lab, state of the art office space and meeting rooms and much more!

What to expect?

9 am: Guests arrive

9.00 - 9.45: refreshments, breakfast and networking 

9.45 - 10.00: Welcome from the Made in Group & BCU

10.00: Tour of STEAMhouse 

11:00: Finish

Office space is available after the event for guests to stay and work
