  • Fiona Conor, MD of Trust Electric Heating: Join Fiona  as she explores how AI is reshaping manufacturing and driving significant business improvements. With manufacturers under constant pressure to boost efficiency, productivity, and responsiveness, AI offers a transformative solution by automating tasks, optimising workflows, and providing data-driven insights. However, adopting AI presents challenges, such as selecting the right use-cases, integrating AI into current systems, and ensuring employee readiness.
Fiona will share how Trust Electric embraced AI across multiple departments, from HR and Customer Service to Marketing. By using platforms like Sintra AI and Vocable.ai, every team member at Trust Electric now has an AI "personal assistant," automating repetitive tasks and analysing complex data. This has freed up employees to focus on higher-value, strategic work. The results have been striking: faster decision-making, streamlined processes, enhanced cost-efficiency, and a small team that operates with the productivity of a much larger workforce.
Fiona will also offer practical advice on how to effectively implement AI, including how to identify the most impactful areas for AI integration, train staff to work with AI tools, and measure ROI. This talk will provide valuable insights for manufacturers, especially SMEs, looking to leverage AI for long-term growth and competitiveness. Future Factories: The Transformative Power of AI in Manufacturing Virtual Roundtable Session

  • David Ashworth, Supply Chain Development & Intelligence at Sellafield Ltd: Join us for an insightful session with David, as he discusses the exciting procurement opportunities emerging from the Manufactured Products Partnership (MPP). In this presentation, David will provide an overview of Sellafield’s current procurement needs, focusing on how the shift to a long-term, collaborative approach through the MPP will create significant opportunities for suppliers. With an estimated £2 billion worth of manufactured products to be procured over the next 20 years, this partnership will offer suppliers the chance to be involved early in the design process, fostering strong commercial relationships. David will also cover the importance of supplier capabilities, the forecast demand for manufactured products, and the timelines involved. If your company is interested in engaging with Sellafield and becoming part of the supply chain supporting one of the UK’s largest decommissioning projects, this is a session not to be missed.
