Contrinex has updated it’s range of miniature photoelectric and inductive sensors to include an IO-Link interface making them ideal for position-or presence-sensing wherever space is limited, for example on assembly jigs, fixtures, machinery and robot grippers.
The addition of IO-Link provides remote configuration, adjustment, monitoring and diagnosis, for example in the context of Industry 4.0.
The miniature inductive sensors are available for operating pressures up to 150 bar (Classics Ø 3 mm), 500 bar (Extra Distance M5) or in a robust one-piece stainless-steel housing with long operating distances and factor 1 on steel and aluminium (Full Inox Ø 4 mm and M5).
