The holding company for a collection of Midlands-based engineering companies is looking to the future with renewed optimism following the appointment of a new chairman.

QML Holdings Ltd said it was delighted that English businessman Mohamed Amersi had agreed to take on the new role and steer the business into the next phase of its growth.

Mr Amersi, who will also be a director of the group, will support and assist the existing management team in delivering on the potential within the QML Group for the benefit of all stakeholders.

The QML Group is well placed to take advantage of the significant opportunities and growth potential that lies ahead and to progress significantly in the post-Brexit era.

It said Mr Amersi’s appointment coincided with the group’s efforts to scale up and position itself as a formidable player in the global engineering supply chain.

It said Mr Amersi’s more than three decades of in-depth global business experience through his work in profit, non-profit and social ventures, would not only help the company navigate any global business uncertainties but also help to shape QML Holdings as a leading global engineering supplier.

Hareesh Totiger, CEO and co-founder of QML Holdings, said: “Mr Amersi’s go-getter attitude is a vital addition to the board, which will immensely help all stakeholders of QML Holdings in the future. We welcome Mr Amersi and are excited to lead the future under his chairmanship.”
