Qi Performance team member and business owner has been doing her bit to raise funds for Care packages for Frontline NHS staff and Care workers.

Suzanne Thorneycroft decided to help after seeing NHS staff sustaining sores and bruises from wearing protective equipment.

"I put a shout out on FB, LinkedIn, and Instagram to help raise funds for Care-packages which contain soothing face creams, lip balms, cleansing facial wipes, and even protective Hand defense spray! I am a consultant for Neals Yard Organics, and in a position to help, it felt like the right thing to do"

The donated funds also included Suzanne's own commission, this meant that she has currently been able to send out 32 full care - packages to Hospitals and Care Homes in Malton and York. There was also a consignment of Hand Creams and face creams sent to the local Doctors surgery.

"It's a cause very close to my heart. In a previous serious accident the NHS supported my family and me through trauma, so to be able to give back in some small way is the very least I can do. Also, I have a daughter who works in a Care Home and one who works at the Dr's surgery, with friends in the both hospitals I have donated to."

We are so proud of the efforts Suzanne has made and encourage all who can donate to this very worthy cause to get in touch. The crisis continues and so does the fundraising.

The efforts reached the ear of the local newspaper and you can read the article by following the link below or follow Suzanne's fundraising activities on LinkedIn.
