A Stourbridge based precision tool maker and injection moulding specialist is investing in their future with new people and plant.

In doing so CJ Tool & Moulding are increasing both the diversity and volume of work in all areasof their business. They have recruited staff in key positions to help them make this transition.

Andy Sully is their new Business Development Manager. He has relocated from Yorkshire to take the role and has previously worked in plastics for 20 years, he was formerly commercial project leader for one of Europe’s largest chemical operations.

Joining him is Caroline Perks who comes in to head up the Business & Management Accountant side of the business. Their policy to invest in an apprenticeship programme for young highly motivated individuals, in partnership with the Lean Engineering & Manufacturing Academy (LEMA) sees engineering apprentice Daniel Mills complete a hat-trick of new signings.

Alongside their investment in people, CJ Tool & Moulding is also increasing it’s capital equipment procurement spend with new machinery to support the planned growth and replacement of existing plant.

Managing Director Nick Copson explained: "Our philosophy is to support existing and potential clients develop innovative ideas though our concept2component model. To do this we have to be at the forefront of technology and production efficiency and our investment plan will drive the business forward.”

CJ Tool & Mouldings operate under the control of BSEN ISO9001 approval and registration. They are happy to talk to potential clients who would like to discuss existing, new or specific re-shoring projects.
